Health card scheme in Punjab will not be started on October 2. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has defer to the launch. Now this scheme will be launched in December. Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh described floods. However, those assured that the funds were allotted and the tender process will start soon.
Under this scheme, each family had to get free medical treatment for Rs 10 lakh. The Punjab Government had claimed that all government and namwar private hospitals in the state would be included in this scheme. Serious illnesses issued will be treated in the health card.
About postponing, Health Minister Balbir Singh said, “First, Punjab floods will be delayed. The tender process is to be held to Rs. 1 lakh in three days.”

However, registration is released for this scheme in Barnala and Tarn Taran. Today is the second day of the registration process. The Punjab Government was preparing to start a healthcard plan in Punjab for months. Meanwhile, floods in the Punjab in the end of August, floods in Punjab affected all 23 districts in the state. In addition, the tender process was stopped. Now, the government has decided to start in December.
