BJP MP Lahar Singh Siroya on Tuesday criticized Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for the announcement of caste census and alleged that it had created dissatisfaction within various communities and even the Congress party. In a post on X, Siroya wrote that Siddaramaiah has unhappy everyone, including the people and cabinet colleagues of his party, by ordering caste census in such a hurry. In today’s situation, Vokkaliga, Lingayat, Dalit, OBC, Brahmin, minority, tribal and nomadic are angry with the Congress government. The Chief Minister should ask whether his own Kuruba community is with him or he is also angry. Asking who is really happy with the caste survey is a good question. Perhaps only Mr. Rahul Gandhi.

Siroya further stated that the caste survey of Karnataka has created fear in all communities, no group is satisfied with the expected results, and warned that Siddaramaiah’s leadership can weaken the Congress, which will inherit very little for DK Shivkumar. He wrote, “Every community in Karnataka has expressed its resentment against the caste survey. Every community is afraid of the final results of the survey. Now it seems that no survey will live up to their aspirations or expectations. The local newspapers are full of these news. He said, “Well, we have no complaint on all this in BJP.
