Benefits of GST savings should be delivered to the people of the region: Scindia

New Delhi/Guna/Ashoknagar/Shivpuri. Union Minister of Communications and North Eastern Region Development and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia held an important virtual meeting with MLAs, district presidents, divisional presidents and other officials of Ashoknagar, Shivpuri areas of Guna parliamentary constituency on Tuesday today. In the meeting, the schemes and policies of implementation were discussed to spread the benefits of Seva Pakhwara and GST savings festival running from 22 to 29 September. Scindia discussed the schemes to bring the gift of improvement in the GST rates received by the country to the people of Guna region on the first day of Navratri. Appealed to spread these benefits to the public and spread awareness to buy indigenous goods.
The Union Minister said in the meeting that Seva Pakhwara, which started from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is an opportunity of service, social welfare and public awareness for every worker. He instructed the district presidents and workers to make a detailed plan for the daily program, in which a group of workers should be made and each team should be led by a senior worker. These teams go to the assembly, block, tehsil, panchayat and every ward of village-village and complete the programs in a timely manner. The minister also said that every group should share the reports and photos of their works regularly, so that Seva Pakhwada can be made organized and result.

Special camps should be organized in Seva Pakhwara

In the meeting, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that during Seva Pakhwara, he said to pay special attention to health, sanitation, environment, public welfare schemes, social service and public awareness. He said that free health camps should be set up in health related service works, in which blood tests, BP, sugar etc. tests should be done. Along with this, blood donation camp should be organized and wheelchairs and accessories should be provided to the disabled in every camp. Scindia planned to clean up public places under the cleanliness campaign in Seva Pakhwara and to reach the plastic-free campaign to the people. Similarly, appealed for large -scale plantation at the district level for plantation and environmental protection. It was decided in the meeting that special programs will also be organized on the life and achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These will include picture exhibition, speech competition, essay writing, seminar and discussion on Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.

Welfare schemes should be delivered to people: Scindia

The Guna MP also emphasized on publicity of public welfare schemes during the meeting. He said that every worker will have to take responsibility and ensure that the information about the schemes of the Central and State Government like Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, Swanidhi Yojana, Mudra Benefits and Vishwakarma Yojana reached every household and eligible candidates should get the benefit of the schemes.

The area should be trained digitally: Scindia

In the meeting, the Union Minister instructed the people of the region to make people aware and train for digital services and instructed the officials to open Jan Dhan account, to train Aadhaar linking and digital payment. Along with this, organizing collective yoga camps, Cyclothon, Walkathon and Run for Service under Fit India and Yoga programs were planned. At the same time, Guna MP said that slogans like rally and Prabhat Pheri Hi and Cleanliness are the launch at the inauguration and conclusion of Seva Pakhwara in the parliamentary constituency. Also, instructions were given to use the hashtags like #Sevapakhwada and #Sevahisangathan to share all these activities on social media.

GST savings festival is a gift to the people

In the meeting, Union Minister Scindia discussed GST reforms in detail. He said that historical GST reforms have made the country’s tax system simple, transparent and public interest. This has reduced the tax burden of traders, consumers are getting goods at affordable prices and the national economy has been strengthened. The minister directed the workers that a comprehensive campaign should be launched across the district to reach the GST savings festival to the people. Workers should make a team and take a padyatra in the markets every morning and evening, meet shopkeepers and inform about GST reforms. The benefits of GST should be transported to village through street plays, chaupal and public relations programs.
Under the GST Savings Festival, it was also decided that a program would be organized at the district headquarters level, in which the progress and achievements of the campaign would be shared. The Union Minister decided in the meeting that “proudly say it is indigenous” among the traders, the boards with slogans should be distributed and the shopkeepers should be urged to put them on their shops.

GST simplification has given great relief to traders

Scindia also informed that to give special benefits to the farmers, now only 5% GST will be imposed on tractors, tractor tires, drip irrigation systems and sprinklers. He said that we should buy such items which are made in our country, in which the hard work and sweat of Indian youth. On this occasion, he also mentioned that due to dozens of taxes and different rules, the city was difficult and expensive to send goods from the city, but GST has given relief to traders by ending this complex system. At the end of the meeting, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that through these campaigns, the vision of rich India, strong farmers and indigenous India will be realized.
