Navi Mumbai Road Rage Case: Lookout circular issued against former IAS Pooja Khedkar Pooja Khedkar’s parents, Kidnapping case

In a major incident in the Navi Mumbai truck helper kidnapping case, the police have issued a lookout circular against dismissed probationary IAS officer Pooja Khedkar’s father Dilip Khedkar and mother Manorama Khedkar. According to officials, despite the constant search by the police, the two are absconding for the last nine days. Along with them, the police is also looking for an unknown person. Meanwhile, the family’s driver-cum-teacher Prafulla Salunkhe has been arrested. Police sources have revealed that the day the Rabale police and Pune police arrived at Pune’s residence in Pune, Dilip, Manorama and his bodyguards managed to escape the same day. Dileep and bodyguards fled into a land cruiser, while Manorama left about 30 minutes later. Sources said that the three escaped between 12 noon and 3 pm on the same day.

Sources said that Dilip and his bodyguard had gone to Ahmednagar from Pune. On arrival, Dileep asked the bodyguard to land and kept running the land cruiser alone. After this, the bodyguard returned to his ancestral residence in Dhule. The police suspect that Dileep deliberately hid the car before going underground. He said that the land cruiser has not been recovered yet. According to the Rabale police officer, the incident occurred on Mulund-Aaroli Road when a concrete mixer truck run by 22-year-old Prahlad Kumar collided with a land cruiser, after which he got angry with two people in the SUV.

Later investigation revealed that Dilip Khedkar along with his bodyguard Praful Salunkhe forcibly forcibly seated Kumar to the SUV and took him to his bungalow in Pune. Acting on the complaint of the truck owner, the Rabale police on Sunday registered a case against two unidentified persons under Section 137 (2) of the Indian Justice (BNS). Later, the police detected the SUV to Pune through technical analysis.
