Rita Bhattacharya, the former wife of singer Kumar Sanu, has made serious allegations about her past with the popular playback singer. Rita, who married Sanu in the late 1980s, recently talked about the problems during her marriage in an interview. Rita claimed that Kumar Sanu felt very insecure and did not let him go out of the house. She further reported that her sister had left her children and husband to live with her and Kumar slept in the same room with Sanu, while Rita slept in another room with her children. I used to buy a handful of rice and then cooked khichdi at my sister’s house, and then we used to eat food. They also stopped giving milk for my children, gave me only ₹ 100 every day and told the pediatrician that we would not give you money.
