UP: Two children died due to drowning in a pit filled with water

In Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, two children died after drowning in a water -filled pit on Sunday. Police gave this information. According to the police, Bhim Yadav (nine) and Kishu Yadav (eight), residents of Hatwa Tola of Barhj police station area, had left their homes at 11 am.

Police said that the housemates stopped them by saying that it was Sunday but they went to play with their friends by asking the teacher to call. According to the police, both of them started bathing in a pit of brick kiln filled with water while playing with the companions and landed in the deep company, after which both drowned.

Police said that seeing the children drowning, the colleagues first tried to save them, but when they failed, they made a noise, which led to the people around and reached near the pit.

According to the police, both the children were taken out but by then they had died. Barhaj police station in -charge inspector Rahul Singh said that the bodies of both the children were sent for postmortem and the investigation of the case is going on.
