Forest Minister Dr. Sunil Kumar founded the foundation stone of Thawe Eco Park, Eco Park will be built at a cost of 18 crores

Eco Tourism Park is being constructed in Thawe in Gopalganj district to promote environmental protection and give a new direction to local tourism. The foundation stone of this project was laid by Dr. Sunil Kumar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department on Saturday. This ecopurityan park, built at a cost of about Rs 18 crore, will not only make the people of the district experience entertainment and natural beauty. Rather, it will also create a distinct identity in the tourism sector of the state.

The minister said that there will be a wonderful confluence of modernity and natural attraction in this project. Open amphitherators will be created in this, where cultural programs and public awareness related activities can be organized. Park cafeteria will also be constructed for visitors. Play zone for children’s entertainment will be the center of special attraction, where safe and interesting sports equipment will be installed.

Bamboo fencing barrier and bamboo structure will be constructed to enhance the park’s safety and beauty. Adventure activities like zipline and langur net will be special attraction between youth and tourists. At the same time, bicycle sheds and walkway will give health lovers an opportunity for a walk between nature. He said that environment-friendly facilities will also be provided in the park. The park’s light will be arranged with solar lights, which will save energy and promote environmental protection. RCC benches will be facilitated for visitors’ rest. Special arrangements for bird watching will be made, where bird lover will be able to observe rare species in a natural environment. Apart from this, a grand main gate will be built and basic structures like toilets will also be developed. Dr. Sunil Kumar said that it will provide a different experience to tourists and will attract the tourist meeting with historical importance.
