‘Mahajang’ from Pakistan in Dubai, Suryakumar’s Hunkar- Team India fully ready

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has expressed confidence in India’s preparations before the match against Pakistan in the Super Force of Asia Cup. India will take on Pakistan for the second time in the Super 4 phase of the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. India’s Asia Cup campaign has started a great start, the team has won all three matches of the group stage against UAE, Pakistan and Oman. Suryakumar insisted on the concentrated approach and urged his team to pay attention to every match one by one instead of depending on the previous successes.

Speaking in the press conference before the match, Suryakumar Yadav said, “I think our preparations have been excellent before the tournament and we have also played 3 good matches, so we are actually focusing on how we can perform our best. As I said at the time of the toss, we want to adopt all our good habits, which we are doing with the same match and we have a single match with the same. Will give it, but yes, as you said, we do not get any edge, because we have played with them once and our match has been good, so it will definitely have a good match.

After new controversies such as non-joining hands, discussions and threats to withdraw from the match, India and Pakistan will once again face to face. The controversy began when India decided not to join hands with Pakistani players after winning a 7 wickets in the ongoing Asia Cup match in Dubai on Sunday. Pakistan immediately reacted and expressed its disappointment by moving away from the presentation after the match.

India’s attitude was associated with tense relations between the two countries after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 tourists by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists on 22 April. The controversy of joining hands increased after the PCB filed a complaint against Pycroft and violating MCC laws related to the ICC code of conduct and cricket spirit. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) flatly refused to accept Pakistan’s request. In response, the PCB threatened to withdraw from a do or die match against the UAE.
