The officers provided this information. Officials said that a joint search team of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) on the Sea-Dhar forest border of Dodu-Basantgarh area of Udhampur and Bhadarwah in Doda was opened late Friday evening.

He said that the jawan was rushed to the hospital, where he died. Officials said that there was a severe siege at night in the area around the encounter site and a joint search operation was resumed on Saturday morning. He said that two to three terrorists are expected to hide in the forest area. Officials said additional forces equipped with drones and investigative dogs have been sent from both Udhampur and Doda and a comprehensive search operation was on till the final report. He said that no clue of terrorists has been found so far.
