Telangana Chief Minister A Revant Reddy said on Friday that US President Donald Trump’s decision to impose heavy tariffs (fees) on India would also affect the US economy.
Addressing an event in Delhi, Reddy said that if Indians were refused to give visas and admissions, American educational institutions and other India can set up their campus in India.
Reddy said, “It is not going to affect our economy alone, it will also affect the American economy … If they are reluctant to give a visa, if they are reluctant to enroll Indians, all those institutions are coming to India.”
He said that Trump’s sudden announcement will not work for a long time. Indirectly targeting former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Reddy said, “There was also a trump in Telangana, but people removed the trump. Anyone who arbitrarily runs the administration can be a trump. Trump’s own style of arbitrary will not work for a long time.”
Reddy also said that Telangana is developing ‘Bharat Future City’, which is being prepared as one of the most advanced urban centers in the country to suit global standards.
