Violence under conspiracy in Nepal? KP Oli’s big claim, did not order to shoot on Gen-Z, demand for investigation

Breaking his silence over the recent protests in Nepal, outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the death of the deceased youth protesters was a conspiracy. Sharing a Facebook post on Constitution Day, Oli clarified that the violence was instigated by many intruders, the government did not give any order in this regard, and our police did not have such automatic weapons. The main reason for the violence was illegal infiltration of conspirators, resulting in many of our youths to lose their lives. The government had not ordered the protesters to shoot.

A post on Facebook said that after resigning from my post, Singh Darbar Secretariat and Supreme Court were set on fire, Nepal’s map was burnt and several important government buildings were set on fire. He said that I do not want to tell in detail about the conspiracies behind these incidents, time will tell myself. Oli also remembered the challenges faced by the country while implementing the Constitution. He said that the constitution was implemented amid challenges against border blockade and national sovereignty. Oli said that all generations of Nepal would have to unite – to face an attack on our sovereignty and protect our Constitution.

He resigned as the Prime Minister on September 9, soon after which hundreds of agitators entered his office and demanded at least 19 people to die for the death of at least 19 people in police action during the protest on September 8. On September 8 and 9, 72 people, including three policemen, were killed during alleged corruption and violent protests against the ban on social media.
