A person named Anjani Mishra said on Friday that he was constantly getting phone calls and now he intends to contact the police as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s mobile number was shown during the press conference on alleged “vote theft”. Mishra said that the Congress leader wrongly connected him to the issue of voter ID in Maharashtra. He said that he never went to Maharashtra and described the charge as false.
Talking to ANI, Anjani Mishra said that Rahul Gandhi made my phone number public in his press conference, which caused me a lot of trouble. He indicated that votes have been stolen in Maharashtra and my voter ID cards have been removed, whereas it is not so. I have no history of movement from Maharashtra, so my voter ID cards in Maharashtra can neither be made nor removed. This is a completely false allegation. He falsely accused and made my number public.
Mishra said that he has been using this number without any problem for 15 years and now plans to file a complaint with the police, calling the incident a violation of his privacy. Mishra said that I am getting unknown, fake and fraud calls. I have to file a complaint with my nearest police station because this is also a violation of my privacy … I have this number for the last 15 years. I never had any problem. It was shown in a fake way and I will complain about it.
A day earlier, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi held a press conference in New Delhi and accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of saving “people who destroy Indian democracy”. Although the Congress leader clarified that the so -called ‘hydrogen bomb’ is still feared, he claimed that “some special people” were systematically cutting votes of minority groups that specifically vote for the Congress.
