Massive Crowds at Apple Store | Wait overnight for iPhone 17! Long queues on Apple Store, customers clash with each other

On Friday (September 19), on the occasion of the much awaited launch of Apple’s iPhone 17 series in India, there was chaos among the huge crowd outside the Apple Store at BKC Jio Center in Mumbai. The enthusiasm became tense when some people clashed in a long queue, causing the stores to intervene immediately before the situation deteriorated.

Huge crowd for new iPhone

Hundreds of eager Apple fans stood in queue outside the store since morning, and many people waited overnight to buy this latest device. The crowd was part of the official sales of Apple’s iPhone 17 series in India since 19 September, in which buyers were coming not only from Mumbai but also from other parts of the country. Manoj, a customer from Ahmedabad, said, “I come from Ahmedabad every time … I am waiting from 5:00 am.”

One of the initial customers told news agency PTI, “I was standing in queue since 3 am. I have come here from Jogeshwari. I was very excited … I was waiting for this phone for the last six months.” A customer, Irfan, told news agency ANI, “I have come to buy orange iPhone 17 Pro Max. I have been waiting from 8 pm … This time, changes have been made in cameras and batteries, and the look is also different.”

A customer, Aman Memon said, “I am very excited about the iPhone 17 Pro Max series. This time, Apple’s design is new. It has the A19 bionic chip, which will make the gaming experience even better. I was waiting for this color for the last 6 months, when I came to know when I came to know that this color is going to be launched …”.

A customer said, “This time the design has changed. Last time I had 15 Pro Max, and it seemed to be a much better upgrade than him. The camera has upgraded a lot, and the processor has also changed. The battery is also a little more, so I feel like buying it …”.

Security on high alert

After a small clash, the security personnel maintained strong control over the rising queues and controlled the huge crowd of people throughout the day. Outside the Apple Store in Saket, Delhi, similar scenes of long queues were seen where a large number of customers gathered for pre-booking. Despite the clash in Mumbai, the enthusiasm of Apple’s fans did not diminish, causing another vigorous launch for this legendary company in India.

The recently launched iPhone 17 series is between ₹ 82,900 to ₹ 2,29,900. These devices are now available in India from September 19 to both pre-booking and walk-these customers.

To increase sales, Apple’s retail partners and distributors have offered several offers including cashback, exchange bonus and long -term EMI schemes. Customers upgrading from old iPhone models can also take advantage of bundle deals on accessories and wearables.
