Bollywood actor Manoj Vajpayee is not disappointed by the fact that his two most acclaimed performances in the films “Zorm” and “Ek Banda Khila Hai” did not get much appreciation at the National Film Awards. The actor says that he does not expect for the work he does. Four times, National Award winner Vajpayee was appreciated by film critics as well as fans for the attractive role of Dasru, an absconding tribal person in “Zorm”.

He played the role of a lawyer challenging a powerful religious leader in the film “Ek Banda Khu Khut Hai”. The film won the National Award for Best Dialogue. Asked if he is unhappy with not winning the National Award for his acting, the actor said that it is difficult for him to answer this question. Vajpayee said, “I do not expect anything from my work, especially from award ceremonies. All the awards are falling down, they are losing credibility. For this reason, I never expect. ”

He said to PTI-“One thing that will never be forgotten is that” Zoram “is a great film that everyone will accept, this is an acting that I would like to see. When I see it, I think it is not me. This is the realization for which someone has won, and someone has shed a lot of blood and sweat to do so. ”The actor said that many award ceremonies have changed their views. He said, “But they want the same, I have no complaints. Who is the one who complains? This is his award, this is his decision.
