The Mughals imprisoned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but they had returned from captivity to Maharashtra with their intelligence and cleverness. When the people of Maharashtra go to that place (Kothi Meena Bazaar), they do not see any monument or symbol. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a deity for Maharashtra. The necessary funds will be given for this project by the tourism department of Maharashtra.

The old dilapidated building was broken and a new kothi was built in the year 1837, which was called the Governor House. The then Governor General’s residence was built here. By 1857 it was the property of the British. Then the capital of UP was Agra.
After the revolution of 1857, Allahabad was made the capital of UP. After this the kothi was auctioned. Which was bought by King Jai Kishan Das. Now this property is the name of the reader Vrindavan Charitable Trust.

On May 16, 1666, it was ordered to take Shivaji Maharaj to Radandaj Khan’s house.
Shivaji was placed in the mansion located on the mound outside the city of Fidi Hussain located near the cantonment of Ram Singh. Ram Singh’s Haveli Kothi was close to Meena Bazaar. This place is still recorded in the records in the name of Katra Sawai Raja Jaisingh. This is the Kothi Meena Bazaar.
