Bihar: All security standards were investigated before the operation of the metro

Metro Rail Safety Commissioner Janak Kumar Garg on Tuesday conducted a detailed inspection of three stations of Patna Metro Depot, Rolling Stock and Pointy Corridor. During the inspection, he reviewed the rolling stock, station facilities and each point of the depot and insisted on ensuring safety, safety and operational standards. Along with this, Patna Metro has taken another important step towards providing safe, modern and reliable transport system for the common people.

After this, a high -level review meeting held after this included Abhay Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Urban Development and Housing Department cum Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited (PMRCL), Additional Managing Director of PMRCL, along with Abhilasha Sharma, Joint Secretary of Municipal Development and Housing Vibag, along with senior officials of PMRCL and DMRC.

In the meeting, Mr. Garg clearly stated that public safety should be the top priority in the operation of the metro. He said that to start operating the metro, it is mandatory to follow all security and operational protocols. He said that security will be kept paramount in every phase of the project like plan, construction, operation and maintenance. Mr. Garg has directed to ensure complete coordination among all stakeholders. During his inspection and review, he held a detailed discussion on all aspects related to security, operation and maintenance and has also given many necessary guidelines. During the inspection, he investigated all the standards by running the rolling stock at a speed of 40 km per hour.
