In a rare and first public confession, Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has admitted that India never accepted the arbitration of a third party over the disputes between the two countries. He denied former US President Donald Trump’s claim that he was invited for mediation on Kashmir. Dar said that when Islamabad raised Trump’s claim before US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the US diplomat clarified that New Delhi has always been the same stance that all cases with Pakistan are “completely bilateral”.

He further stated that Washington proposed a ceasefire in May, suggesting that India and Pakistan talk to a neutral location.
