On 15 September 2025, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh held an important meeting with the high officials of Noida International Airport (NIA), Noida International Airport Limited, Yamuna Authority, District Administration and Police Department. The purpose of this meeting was to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the first phase of families affected by the airport construction.
On this occasion, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh told all the officials present in the meeting that “The families associated with the airport project have given their lands to pursue the development of the state. Now it is our moral responsibility that we will secure their future by giving employment to the unemployed youth of those families. The anger of the youth is not appropriate with any view. So the administration and related authorities have to take concrete steps in this direction.
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh also told the officials present that “the companies and vendors associated with the airport construction work should be forced to hire the youth of the affected families on priority basis. Also prepared the outline of skill development training and employment arrangements for the affected families.”
Rakesh Kumar Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority present at the meeting, assured that “Yamuna Authority, Noida International Airport and District Administration will take concrete steps as soon as possible to provide employment to the youth.”
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh further said that “Our priority is that every youth of the affected families should get employment opportunities in the airport itself. Jewar Airport is not only the state but also the destiny and picture -changing project of the country. We will strengthen both development and trust by ensuring the participation of local youth in this project.”
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh finally said that “Families who gave their land for Noida International Airport construction had supported the government and authority with great confidence and they were also assured that skill development centers would be opened for the youth of the affected families, so that they can be trained and given respect, respectable employment, but no concrete steps have been taken in this direction in the last three years.”
In this meeting, Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Expressway Industries Development Authority Rakesh Kumar Singh, Noida International Airport CEO Mr. Christoff Shanelman, Additional District Magistrate (Land Education) Bachu Singh, Special Officer of Yamuna Authority Mr. Shailendra Bhatia, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Sub -Divisional Officer Jewar Abhay Singh, DCP Noida Jewar Manish Mishra, ACP Jewar and Kotwali Center in charge Jewar Sanjay Singh etc. were present.
