Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Sunil Bansal on Sunday, while strongly advocating a nation, one election (ONO), described it as necessary for the rapid development and prosperity of the country.
Addressing a seminar here, Bansal said that India is the largest democracy in the world, but due to the continuous election process here, many problems are arising. He said that efforts have been started to improve this system by adopting a nation, one election.
He said that this model will not only improve the socio-economic and political structure of the country, but will also help in creating a strong, stable and rich India.
The BJP leader said that ONOE will not only promote economic growth, reduce unexpected election expenses, but will also strengthen India’s economy and administrative system and the country’s democratic image in the world.
