‘Homebound’ starring Ishaan Khattar, Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor, directed by National Award winning filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan, is set to release in global theaters on 26 September 2025. After its debut in North America at its premiere and Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) at the Cannes Film Festival, the film has been highly praised.Producer Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions announced the release date, saying, “There is no final.” Homebound “is releasing in theaters around the world on 26 September.”

Neeraj Ghaywan’s film ‘Homebound’ has received a tremendous positive response from the audience, including standing at its world premiere at the 78th Cannes Film Festival for 9 minutes and playing applause once again in the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on 12 September 2025.
Homebound: Construction Details
The Bollywood film has been produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawala, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film is shared by Prateek Shah and the music is composed by Naren Chandavarkar and Benedict Taylor.
Homebound OTT Streaming Update
Since the poster, which announced the official release date, is the Netflix logo, it shows that the film will be available to stream on the Netflix platform. However, the manufacturers have not yet announced any announcement about its OTT release date.
