Inclusive, fully committed to pursue all -round development of Manipur: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that his government is fully committed to the inclusive and all -round development of Manipur. Prior to his visit to five states including Manipur from thirteen to 15 September, Modi said that he would attend programs in Chudachandpur and Imphal on Saturday.

He posted on ‘X’, “We are fully committed to pursue the inclusive and all -round development of Manipur. The foundation stone of road projects, national highway projects, women hostels and other development programs will be laid.

The projects that are being inaugurated include the Civil Secretariat, IT SEZ Bhawan and the new Police Headquarters in Mantri, are unique markets for women in various districts.

Modi said that he will participate in programs in Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar in the next three days, whose purpose is to facilitate life. Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 71,850 crore in the next three days.

He will launch the National Makhana Board in Bihar, inaugurate the new terminal building of Purnia Airport in Bihar and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth about Rs 36,000 crore in Purnia. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 9,000 crore in Aizawl, Mizoram.

For the first time Prime Minister Mizoram will inaugurate the new railway line connecting Mizoram to the Indian Railway Network. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 8,500 crore in Manipur.
