PM Modi launched Gyan Bharatam portal, a campaign of renaissance of golden past

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Gyan Bharatam portal, a dedicated digital platform that aims to digitize, conserve and accelerate public access to manuscripts. Narendra Modi said that I had announced the Gyan Bharatam Mission a few days ago and today we are organizing Gyan Bharatam International Conference. He said that this is not a government or academic event, but it is the announcement of Indian culture, literature and consciousness. I congratulate all the citizens of the country for the launch of Gyan Bharatam Mission.

Modi said that today Vigyan Bhawan is witnessing the Renaissance of the golden past of India. A few days ago I announced the Gyan Bharatam Mission, and in such a short time today we are organizing Gyan Bharatam International Conference. The portal associated with this has also been launched. He said that this is not a government or academic event. Gyan Bharatam Mission, India’s culture, literature and consciousness is going to be the announcement.
The Prime Minister said that the contemplation of thousands of generations, the realization and research of the great masters and scholars of India, our knowledge traditions, our scientific heritage – we are going to digitize them through our scientific heritage – Gyan Bharatam Mission. He said that today India has the world’s largest handwriting collection. We have about 1 crore handwriting. Millions of handwriting were burnt in the cruel hit of history, disappeared, but those who are left are witness to how deep and wide our ancestors were for knowledge and science reading.

Narendra Modi said that India’s knowledge tradition is so rich till date, because its foundations are based on 4 main pillars. These are protection, innovation, addition and adaptation. He said that India is a vibrant flow in itself, which is formed by its thoughts, ideals and values. In the ancient manuscripts of India, we get to see the lines of continuous flow of India. These manuscripts are also a manifesto of unity in our diversity.
