The people of Punjab is the relief news that now is decisive water level in the Bhakra Dam. According to the data collected today, Bhakra Dam’s water levels have reached 3 feet from the danger mark and four flood gates have been opened from 4-4 feet. The water level is recorded at 1677 feet while Dam’s danger mark is at 1680 feet.
It is also important to explain here that Bhakra Dam levels had reached the area at the time of a serious danger mark during the continuous rainfall in the last days, and 85,000 cucasculum water was left out of the Bhakra Dam. If there is no heavy rainfall in the days in Himachal Pradesh, the water level will now begin to decline which would be a relief for the people of Punjab.
