Four more industrial corridors to be built in Bihar, Union Industries Minister announced on the demand of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary addressed the Bihar Idea Festival held in Bapu Auditorium in Patna- Bihar is growing rapidly towards industrial development. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have given an industrial corridor for the development of Bihar. The industrial corridor is being constructed on 1700 acres in Gaya, the Bihar government has provided 1300 acres of additional land for this. Mr. Chaudhary said-The needs of the 14 crore population of Bihar are so big that our work will not be done with a corridor. We request Honorable Union Minister Piyush Goyal to give us at least four more industrial corridors.

Goyal, who was present at the program, immediately took cognizance of the demand of the Deputy Chief Minister and announced- four industrial corridors will be constructed in different areas of Bihar. Along with this, Mr. Goyal praised the new Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package-2025 and described it as the simplest and generous package in the country.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chaudhary thanked Union Minister Shri Goyal and said that this is a historic time when we are moving towards setting up the industries that provide employment to millions of people, not thousands of people under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Bihar has gained momentum under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar’s leadership.

The Deputy Chief Minister said- Bihar has now laid a network of world-class roads. From Patna, any corner of the state can be reached in four to five hours. Bihar is also ahead in rail expansion, 13 Vande Bharat trains are running here. Marin drive is being built from Digha to Koilwar and Munger to Bhagalpur along the Ganges. Five major expressway projects have been approved. Chaudhary said- 17 ethanol plants have been set up in the state so far. It is being used to process even by processing corn, wheat and rice spontaneous rice (small pieces of rice). In Bihar, about 40 lakh people have been given employment in the last five years. In 2025-30, we aim to provide one crore government jobs and employment.

Chaudhary said- Prime Minister Modi has given a gift of 1.65 lakh crore schemes to Bihar. On September 15, he will laying the inaugural foundation stone of about 50 thousand crores schemes in Purnia. After Darbhanga Airport, Purnia Airport is now starting on 15 September. It will be the biggest runway airport in Bihar. Emperor Chaudhary said that today Bihar is producing and consuming 9 thousand MW of electricity. We have created an atmosphere for the industry since road, electricity, and new industrial policy 2025. In the coming two years, industrialists will come here without calling. He said-Bihar will increase, only then the country will increase. Industry should become the identity of Bihar, this is our effort. The prosperity of Bihar will bring prosperity to the country.
