Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday targeted the opposition and said that he has completely failed and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi or RJD leader Tejashwi, no matter how much or abuse, will not be misled by Bihar. In a press conference in Patna, Goyal said that the opposition is looking for an excuse to defeat us. I strongly condemn Rahul Gandhi for abusing Prime Minister Modi’s mother. I want to say to Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav that no matter how much you speak or abuse, the people of Bihar will not be misled; The people of Bihar are sensible.

The controversy began after a viral video, in which a rally in Darbhanga during Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar was allegedly shown against Prime Minister Modi and his late mother. Darbhanga police have arrested the accused person and the investigation of the case is going on. Goyal further said that under the leadership of Nitish and Prime Minister Modi, the NDA government is ready to serve Bihar with full confidence. “NDA will take Bihar to new heights,” he said.
Apart from this, Piyush Goyal also appreciated the new GST reforms and said that as things will be cheaper, demand will increase and this will boost the business world. He said that recently, the central government has made a major change in GST to make almost everyday item cheaper. Toothpastes, oils, clothes, watches, shoes and stationery for school -going children are all cheap … Many things are available on 0% GST.

He further said that there are GST slabs in education, health and insurance facilities. He said that today, by cheap all things like refrigerator, TV and AC in homes, a new enthusiasm has been brought in the lives of these people, enthusiasm for good things. As things become cheaper, demand will increase, and business will flourish. Goyal further said that due to GST slab, people will have more employment opportunities, as the availability of cheap products will increase their demand, which will expand the industry.
