Official sources said on Wednesday that by the end of this month, Digi Yatra facility will be implemented at four more airports. According to sources, the names of these four airports are expected to be declared by the end of this week. Additionally, according to official sources, Digi Yatra will receive a gold medal in the National E-Governance Award (NAEG) to be held in Visakhapatnam on 22-23 September.

In February, India’s leading air travel app, Digi Yatra achieved an important achievement by receiving more than 1 crore downloads. This notable achievement highlighted the growing popularity of the app and its transformational impact on air travel in India. Established in December 2022, Digi Yatra is a self-confidential identity (SSI)-in-the-based ecosystem that uses facial biometric techniques for contactless and uninterrupted passenger processing at airports, and provides privacy-protective and skilled travel experiences at 24 airports in India.
It has so far made more than 45 million uninterrupted journeys, which has given a comfortable experience to innumerable travelers. With the impressive daily average of about 10 million users and 30,000 app downloads, this platform is setting standard in digital travel solutions. There are ambitious plans for Digi Yatra 2025. The goal of this platform is to support all 22 official Indian languages, remove language obstacles and ensure that each traveler can confidently navigate the airport processes in their favorite language.
