Violence erupted in France when protesters blocked roads. Slired and the police fired tear gas shells on them. The purpose of the protesters was to pressurize President Emmanuel Macron, so that his new Prime Minister could be punished severely. In view of these developments, the Internal Minister of France said that about 200 protesters have been arrested in the first hours of the employed day of the nationwide protest. Home Minister Bruno Ritleu said that a bus was set on fire in the western city of Rains and trains were disrupted on a line due to damage to a power line in the south-west. He alleged that the protesters were trying to create an atmosphere of rebellion.

Earlier, Macron appointed Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu as the new Prime Minister of France and assigned him to immediately agree on the budget for one of the largest economies in the world. Lacornu, 39, was the youngest Defense Minister in French history and was the architect of a large military construction by 2030, inspired by the war of Russia in Ukraine. Lycornu, who has been loyal to Macron for a long time, is now barely the fourth Prime Minister of France in a year.
