The Qatar administration confirmed the attack, but no information was revealed about the injuries. This is a second major attack on Qatar in about two years. The first attack took place when Iran attacked the Al-Udeed Air Base, where the Middle East headquarters of the US is located.

With this big attack of Israel, America is also seen in the can. The US Embassy in Qatar said it has issued a ‘shelter order’ for its establishments. US President Donald Trump said earlier this week that he is giving Hamas his final warning regarding a possible ceasefire, as the US has made a new proposal that Arab officials said that it includes immediate release of all hostages.

The Israeli army asked to completely vacate Gaza City. This is the first warning to completely vacate the city in the current struggle. The army said that its campaign in North Gaza is going to intensify. Qatar condemned the cowardly Israeli attack at the political headquarters of Hamas in Doha. Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid al-Ansari described it as a severe violation of all international laws and norms.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in a phone conversation with the ruler of Qatar, described the attack as a “criminal act and a severe violation of international law. Qatar’s huge al-u-udeed airbase was hit by an Iranian attack during the 12-day Iran-Israel war. On this airbase, the US Army has an advance headquarters of the Central Command in West Asia. Iranian nuclear sites were attacked by American bombers in this war.
