Congress leader and Chhattisgarh in -charge Sachin Pilot on Tuesday led the state level vote theft campaign against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and demanded that people responsible for the alleged electoral disturbances immediately leave the throne. Pilot announced to intensify the ‘vote thief, philanthropic’ campaign across Chhattisgarh. Speaking in Bilaspur, Pilot said, “We will carry forward the ‘vote thieves, gaddi quit’ campaign across the state. We will spread awareness among people. This campaign will run for several days in Chhattisgarh and we will force the government to hear our voice.

The Congress party in Bihar led the 16 -day visit under the leadership of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, which aims to highlight the alleged ‘vote theft’ by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the alleged irregularities in the voter list by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The yatra concluded in Patna on Monday. The campaign began on August 17, when Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav conducted the journey together with Sasaram. From there, the rally reached Aurangabad, Gaya, Siwan and other districts via 25 districts.

On the day of the concluding day, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Yusuf Pathan and Lalitesh Pati Tripathi, Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut also participated in the voter rights yatra led by Rahul Gandhi in Patna. Many other Indian block leaders also participated in various places. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, CPI (Male) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin attended the rally. Chief Ministers from various states including Siddaramaiah of Karnataka, Sukhwinder Sukhu of Himachal Pradesh and Revanth Reddy of Telangana participated in the yatra. Leaders of India Block visited about 110 assembly constituencies in the electoral state, traveled over 1,300 km and saw the presence of several leaders.
