Voting for the 15th Vice President is being held on Tuesday. Voting in Parliament will be from 10 am to 5 p.m. Prime Minister Modi first vote. NDA has taken 68-year-old CP Radharrishnan on the ground while India has taken up the 79-year-old Suddhan Reddy. The total 781 MPs in this election will find its votes.
Meanwhile, former KCR’s party BRS and ODisha’s former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s party has retracted from Bijidi Vice Presidential election. Both parties will not support any alliance. There are 4 MPs of BRS and 7 MPs in the Rajya Sabha of BJD. The Shiromani Akali Dal, which is only a Member of MPs in the Lok Sabha, has also refused to vote due to floods in Punjab. Aimim president, Assjuddin Owassey said he would support a living candidate in this election. 11 MPs of the YSRCP has decided to vote in favor of NDA candidate.
Vice Presidential election votes will start at 6 pm. The results will be announced after this. The winning candidate will replace Jagdeep Dhantar. Dhankar resigned as suddenly on July 21. Their term was up to 10 August 2027.

Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members vote for the post of Vice President. However, the whip cannot be issued. If all MPs voting on the party line, NDA candidate Radhakrishnan has expected to visit Radhakrishnan. In such a situation, Radhakrishan is sure. However, cross voting in the secret ballot can distort the expression of both sides.
