To promote tourism, the government will organize Sun Rise Festival in Dong: Khandu

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced to start a five -day Sun Rise Festival on Saturday in Dong in Anjaw district, the most eastern village of the country. Khandu said in a post on X, “Got into the wansong in Anjaw district of the state, and moved towards Dong, the place where the first ray of the sun touches the Indian earth.”

The Chief Minister said that the festival will be held from 29 December to 2 January. This festival will provide a unique opportunity to visitors to welcome visitors to the first morning of the new year.

Khandu said in a post, “To promote tourism and create new opportunities for adventurous people and nature lovers, I am happy to announce that from this year we will organize a five -day Sun Rise Festival in Dong.
