The President’s office said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.” The meeting took place a few days after Modi returned from Japan and China.
Modi attended the 25th meeting of the heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) held in Tianjin, China from 31 August to September 1, 2025. SCO development strategy, improvement in global rule, anti-terrorism, peace and security, economic and financial support and sustainable development were discussed at the summit.
