Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Union Minister Giriraj Singh claimed that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) report has exposed the two leaders and abolished their political ambitions in Bihar. Giriraj Singh accused Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav of allegedly insulting Bihar and its people and inviting other leaders like Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy to insult Biharis and Hindus in ‘Voter Rights Yatra’.
The 16 -day Voter Adhikar Yatra held under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha concluded in Patna on 1 September. The main agenda of the yatra was to oppose the special intensive revision being made by the Election Commission of India in Bihar and recently to justify the allegations of “vote theft” by Rahul Gandhi on the Election Commission. Since Bihar assembly elections are expected to be held in October or November, the Election Commission (ECI) of India has not announced the official date.
