India raised the statement on the trump advisor of Trump, who gave Brahmin theory, told the statement wrong and misleading

India has strongly refuted the recent comments of the White House business advisor Peter Navarro, alleging that Brahmins are making profiteering at the cost of common Indians. This claim he made this claim to justify 50% tariffs imposed on Indian goods by US President Donald Trump. Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) spokesman Randhir Jaiswal on Friday strictly denied Navro’s comments, calling him wrong and misleading. Reacting to Navaro’s comments, Jaiswal said that we have seen the wrong and misleading statements made by Peter Navaro and clearly, we reject them.

Jaiswal described the relations between India and the US as “important” for the central government and said that the two countries share a broad and global strategic partnership. Jaiswal said during the press conference that relations between India and America are important to us. It is a broad global strategic partnership. We want to pursue the solid agenda on which we are both committed.

During the press conference, Jaiswal was also asked about Azerbaijan’s claim that India had blocked his complete membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He replied that the expansion of the SCO is a continuous process, and also stated that both Armenia and Azerbaijan had submitted applications for their membership this year. He said that due to lack of time, no decision could be taken by the member countries in Tianjin on this issue. The matter is still under consideration by the group.
