Two police personnel were killed and another seriously injured in a fierce encounter with Maoists of the banned third conference presentation committee (TSPC) in Palamu district of Jharkhand. Officials gave this information on Thursday.An official said an encounter between security forces and members of the restricted Tritiya Conference Committee (TSPC) in Keedal area of ​​Manatu police station area at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

Palamu’s Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Naushad Alam told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “Two security personnel were killed and a soldier was injured in the encounter. The injured jawan has been admitted to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital. ‘

Another official said that the campaign was launched in Kedal village based on the presence of TSPC Commander Shashikant Ganjhu and his team. He said, “As soon as the security team reached the spot, TSPC members started firing on him. Three security personnel were injured in the encounter. He was immediately rushed to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared two of them dead and the injured policeman is being treated.

The stronghold of the SPC has been considered, where Shashikant Ganjhu has been leading the activities of the organization in Palamu and Chatra districts.Security agencies believe that Ganjhu remains the main person behind forcibly recovery and violent activities in the region.After the encounter, the security forces intensified the search operation and laid siege to the surrounding villages to neutralize the Maoists.Paying tribute to the martyred soldiers, SP Rampasi said, “Their sacrifice will not go in vain. The police is fully committed to eliminating militant elements from the police area.”He also assured that every possible arrangement is being made for the treatment of the injured soldiers.
