‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ has been approved in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday. Under this scheme, a target has been set to make a woman entrepreneur from every household. This step is considered important for the women of Bihar. It is believed that now not only will the migration stop from the step, but entrepreneur women will be seen coming out of every house.

The scheme will start from this September 2025. Under this, the first installment of 10 thousand rupees will be given directly to the bank account to women. It will be in the form of grant. If she succeeded in becoming a successful entrepreneur, then such women can also be given an additional amount of up to Rs 2 lakh.
