The policy of increasing the air connectivity on new international routes has been approved to strengthen Bihar on the global plank. In the meeting of the state cabinet, detailed information related to the approval received on its draft was given by Dr. S Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat Department. In a press conference held on Tuesday in the auditorium of the Information Building, he said that a letter has been written to all airlines companies to start international service for Qatar, Dubai, Sri Lanka and other countries. For this, the state government has also decided to give a certain amount under the viability Inter -Fund (Vault Gap Funding or VGF). Companies to be selected through the tender process will get the benefit.

Aircraft companies providing air services from Patna to Kathmandu, 5 lakhs from Gaya to Shah Jahan, will provide monetary assistance of Rs 10 lakh from Gaya to Gaya from Gaya to Bankcock, Gaya to Colombo from Gaya to Colombo. This financial assistance aircraft should have a capacity of at least 150 passengers. The state government has already reduced the rate of VAT on air fuel (air turbine fuel) to encourage the international airline.
This new policy is an exercise to empower Bihar’s participation in the national and international logistic network from Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport and Gaya International Airport in Patna. This initiative will motivate investors to find new possibilities in the aviation sector in Bihar. This will expand the air route. The tourist industry will also get a lot of strength.
Honorarium of farmer advisors increased
The state government has increased the honorarium of farmer advisors working under the Department of Agriculture. They will now get 21 thousand rupees in lieu of 13 thousand per month. For this, withdrawal and expenditure of Rs 67 crore 47 lakh has been approved. Also, the counseling period has been extended from 6 to 7 hours. The posts of 8 thousand 463 farmer advisors are approved in the state, on which 7 thousand 47 advisors are working.
Hotel or resort will now be built in Vaishali
In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, it was decided that both resort or hotel may now be constructed in the Buddha Samyak Museum Complex in Vaishali. For this, 5 acres of land will now be required instead of 10 acres. The hotel or resort will be constructed here through PPP (public private partnership).
New policy for disabled people
A new scheme has been started in the state to make Divyang youth and women self -reliant through self -employment or entrepreneurship. Approval has been given to start this scheme on the lines of the scheme to be run for minorities. It has been approved under the Chief Minister’s Divyangjan Empowerment Scheme (Sambal) run under the Social Welfare Department. 10 crore 25 lakh has been approved to start this scheme from the cabinet.
166 crore approval for 9 projects
The revised amount of Rs 166 crore 81 lakh has been approved for 9 Tezpura, Dehra, Sipaha, Validad, Paharma, Mathauli, Rajapur, Amethi and Dehri Skeep in 12 under construction projects under Bihar State Hydroelectric Corporation. Approval has been given to close the remaining 3 projects Barbal, Rampur and Natwar.

Other major decisions of the cabinet
– It has been decided to transfer 0.0158 acres of the state government at Jaganpura Mauja of Phulwari Sharif Zone of Patna to Patna Metro Rail Corporation at the rate of Rs 30,000 per decimal for the construction of metro station.
– The State Action Plan, 2017 constituted for child labor eradication, freedom and rehabilitation has been implemented. In this, other departments including transport, backward and backward class welfare, panchayat have been added and their works have been determined.
– Approval of 132 posts has been approved for the operation of the emergency helpline service to be set up in Gaya i.e. Dial-112, Dial-112.
– The left dam cum Son Suraksha embankment of Patna Canal will be compelled. 100 crore rupees have been released for this. A target has been set to complete it by February 2027.
– 11 bigha 4 kattha land in Jalalpur zone of Saran district has been transferred to the land dairy project plant.
– 15 acres of land has been transferred to the playground in Divme Mauja of Nagar Zone of Gaya district.
