Are Kim Jong Un Trump’s call ignoring?

North Korea has not yet responded to Trump’s latest comments. However, North Korean media is targeting Washington for a joint military exercise with South Korea.
According to North Korean media, the US-South Korea’s joint military exercise has proved Washington’s intention to “capture the Korean peninsula” and target the countries of the region.
According to a report by Reuters, Kim Jong Un has ignored Trump’s repeated calls since returning to the White House. The report further states that Trump is calling on North Korea as part of his efforts to revive direct diplomacy adopted during his first US President’s tenure.
In July, NK News reported that Trump wrote a letter to Kim, which tried to open a way of dialogue. However, a “high-level formula” told the North Korea-centered news outlet that the letter was rejected by the United Nations Office of North Korea.
