Oman announces 17 -member squad for Asia Cup 2025, command of captaincy to Jatinder Singh

Oman has announced a 17 -member squad for the Asia Cup 2025. The captaincy of the team has been given to Indian -origin player Jatinder Singh. At the same time, there are many Pakistani -origin players in the team which includes the names of Mohammad Nadeem and Aamir Kalim. A total of 6 teams for the Asia Cup have so far announced their squad by Pakistan, India, Hogkong, Oman, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Oman captain 36 -year -old Jatinder is originally from Ludhiana in Punjab. The cricketer made his T20 debut against Afghanistan in 2015. The T20 career of this right -handed batsman is fine. He has scored 1399 runs in 64 matches at an average of 24.54.

Apart from this, Oman Asia Cup will start its campaign in 2025 against Pakistan in Dubai from September 12. After this, the team will play the second match against UAE on 5 September.
