New law of ban on online gaming will provide security to middle class families

The Central Government got the “Promotion and Regulation of online gaming bill-2025” to the middle class families, to protect the youth from online gaming addiction and commit suicide in case of loss and go to the crime world, passed both houses of Parliament. Now this bill has also got permission from the President. After the passage of this bill, many companies started closing the online money games apps.

The new law provides for up to three years imprisonment and a fine of one crore rupees on those who provide online money gaming facilities. Advertising or promoting such a platform can also cause a sentence of up to two years and a fine of up to 50 lakhs. Now the government’s focus will be to ban the real money online game. According to the Bill, work is also going on on creating a regulatory authority which will oversee the online gaming sector. The impact of the law began to appear before it was made as it included Vinji, a gaming company with more than 25 crore users, issued its official statement and announced the withdrawal of its services. Along with this, major companies like Dream-11, Rumi Circle have also started removing their games. MPL and Jupi have also covered their business.

Online gaming has become a big business in India, about 400 companies were working and about two lakh youth were working. There was an investment of 25 thousand crores in companies, including FDI. The government has also damaged its income by banning the online gaming app as these companies were also contributing 20 thousand crores to GST. At present, 1800 gaming startups were running in India. The government has passed this law to save more than 20 thousand crore rupees every year by renouncing its profit and losing more than 20 thousand crore rupees. Online gaming causes 45 crore people to harm every year.

The government was fully aware that by banning online gaming apps, it could suffer heavy losses and the industry groups had given a clear warning to the government that even if the ban is implemented, the government took this tough step to prevent the damage to the general public and society. The government also knows that very big people are involved in this game. From industrialists to the magnificent people of the sports world to the upheaval of the stock market, people who have upheaval in politics are also involved in this game, yet the government has banned the game. The government knows that many people involved in this will go to the court, even then the government is compiled and adamant to save the future of the youth. While passing the bill in the House, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the World Health Organization has declared online money gaming disorder. He said that the international classification of diseases ICD -11 has declared it a gaming disorder. Online money gaming has become a threat to public health. Due to this people are suffering from psychological disorders and passionate and violent behavior. Not only this, due to online gaming, India’s family culture is also getting deep hurt. From the elderly to the small children in the houses, online gaming have become such that they have stopped identifying and talking to each other, it is only on the task, who is on the task.

Online gaming is an important topic that is emerging on a large scale in the digital world. The second segment is online social games like solitaire, Sudoku, Chess etc. will also be promoted. The third is online money games which are a matter of concern. Its algorithm is unclear, sometimes it is difficult to know with whom you are playing with.

The law banning online money gaming apps has been passed by Parliament after long discussions. It is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal efforts that it has become a law today. While enacting the law, Prime Minister Modi was also inspired by the emotional appeals of those families who lost their people in the online money game. Large human tragedy – Online gaming has proved to be a major human tragedy in which 18 people committed suicide in 3 years in Karnataka. A family committed suicide after losing 80 million in Mysore. In Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, many news of suicide and murder were also published due to online gaming. Through online gaming, a very large empire of thugs was also doing its work which is now getting caught.

On passing the bill, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The Promotion and Regulation of online gaming bill 2025 shows our commitment to make India the center of gaming innovation and creativity.” This will encourage e-requests and online social games. It will also protect our society from the harmful effects of online money games. ”
