India New Air Defense System: Sudarshan, Munir’s increased tension, how the game changer for China-Pak will prove to be India’s first IADWS test

In order to strengthen the country’s air defense, DRDO successfully completed the first flight test of IADWS, Integrated Air Defense Weapon System on the coast of Odisha on 23 August. The DRDO shared information about this achievement on X, writing that the first flight test of integrated air defense weapon system was completed on August 23 on the banks of the twelve and a half big Odisha. The IEDWS is a multi -level air defense system, including full indigenous techniques developed with full indigenous techniques, includes surface to surface air missiles, advanced variable range air defense systems and high -power laser -based energy weapons.

Test took place three and a half months after Operation Sindoor

According to the Ministry of Defense, Integrated Air Defense Weapon System (IADWS) is a several layer system. During the flight test, the system targeted and completely destroyed three different targets at different distances and height. It has been created by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that this will strengthen India’s defense preparations. Officials described the test as a milestone in India’s journey to self -sufficiency.
