Defense Minister Rajnath Singh went to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital here and came to know about the health of the people injured in a sudden flood in a remote village in Kishtwar district. The officers provided this information. Singh was accompanied by Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said that after reaching here from Delhi, the minister reached Jammu Hospital directly and met 16 people undergoing treatment there. On August 14, 65 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in cloudburst in Chishoti village. Since then, 32 missing people have not been detected yet.
