Why refuse to fund Tamil Nadu? Stalin’s sharp attack on BJP

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of creating problems for the state administration and allocating the proper share of money. The Chief Minister said that Tamil Nadu politics is the politics of social justice and compared to other Indian states, Tamil Nadu is at the forefront of many regions. Speaking at the national seminar on the Sangh-Rajya relations at Kalaivar Arangam, the Chief Minister said that I am happy to inaugurate the first National Conference on Sangh-Rajya relations in Tamil Nadu.

The Chief Minister said that Tamil Nadu is one of the biggest contribution of GST revenue to the central government. Nevertheless, the central government is refusing to allocate a proper part of money to Tamil Nadu for narrow political objectives. Stalin stressed that Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Punjab and Kerala are not states where BJP is ruled and the central government has given them problems and problems.

The Chief Minister said that Tamil Nadu has been implementing reservation policy for more than a decade and has been implementing many progressive laws and schemes. Its foundation was laid by the Dravidian movement. Stalin further stated that despite strict financial restrictions, Tamil Nadu has achieved a double-point growth of 11.19% in 2024–25, the highest in 14 years. After the opposition of Tamil Nadu against the central government imposing Hindi, similar anti -Hindi movements are taking place in various states of India.

The Chief Minister further said that the principle of autonomy of the state within federalism strengthens both the unity and diversity of India. Only by the efforts of self -sufficient states can an unbroken India become really strong. Stalin said that the Dravidian leaders tried tirelessly for great principles like equality, social justice and women’s rights. Both Anna and Kalangar implemented many important schemes, which led to the upliftment of people in every sphere of life.
