Group Captain Shubhanshu Shuklane met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday. President Murmu greeted Shubhanshu Shukla on becoming the first Indian to return from the International Space Station (ISS). The President gave his best wishes to the entire team for future efforts, especially the Gaganyaan Mission. After meeting the President, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla shared his experiences in space. Earlier, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday and during this time he discussed his space journey, important experiments in class and India’s leading human space flight program ‘Gaganyaya’. A senior official said that the meeting was held in the ‘South Block’ in New Delhi. Singh said that Group Captain Shukla’s visit will inspire the youth of India. The Defense Minister said in a post on ‘X’, “The Indian astronaut group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla was pleased at the international space station. We discussed his inspirational space journey, important experiments he had done in the classroom, progress in science and technology and India’s leading ‘Gaganyaan’ mission.
