The Haryana Police arrested a person in connection with the firing of YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav in Gurgaon’s house last week. The suspect has been identified as Ishant alias Ishu Gandhi, who was arrested by the Faridabad crime branch on Friday after the encounter.

Officials said that during the shootout, he was shot in the leg and he was admitted to the hospital. Police said the firing took place near Faridpur village at around 4:15 am, where Gandhi took several rounds before controlling. He was shot in his leg and was rushed to the hospital.
Firing at Elvish Yadav’s house
Police said three motorcycle -riding attackers fired about 25 to 30 rounds of bullets at Yadav’s house and then escaped. No one was reported injured in this incident. The 27 -year -old young man lives on the second floor of the building, but was not at home during the attack. However, at that time his family members and caretaker were inside the house.
Gangster took responsibility
The Bhau Gang, taking responsibility for the attack, has said that it was done by Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritolia, and described it as just a ‘warning’ for Yadav.

Elvish Yadav’s journey and controversy
Popular YouTuber Yadav, Bigg Boss came into fame after winning OTT 2. However, he has often been in controversies over his comments. In March last year, 27 -year -old Yadav was arrested by the Noida police for allegedly consuming a snake poison for entertainment during a Rev party, including some foreigners. The complaint against Yadav was lodged by Gaurav Gupta.
The case later went to the Allahabad High Court, where Yadav’s lawyer argued that no snakes, drugs or drugs were recovered from him. The lawyer also said that Yadav had no connection with the accused or co-accused in the case.
Subsequently, the case reached the Supreme Court, which on 6 August stayed the proceedings of the lower court against Yadav. Justice MM A bench of two judges of Sundaresh and Justice Joymalya Bagchi also issued notices to Gupta and Uttar Pradesh government on the petition of Yadav.
