Jammu and Kashmir: Pilgrims fall into a ditch, one dies

On Thursday, pilgrims going to Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Temple in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir killed one person and 39 people were injured when they slipped into the ditch from the Jammu-Pathankot highway. The officers provided this information.

Officials said the accident occurred in Jatwal when the tire of the bus of pilgrims going from Uttar Pradesh to Katra exploded and slipped from the highway near a small bridge. He said that the deceased has been identified as 45 -year -old Iqbal Singh, a resident of Amroha.
