He will visit the flood affected areas of Guna, Shivpuri and Ashoknagar districts on four days stay. Public life has been badly affected by floods in rural areas and people are facing difficulties everywhere. They themselves are reaching every affected area. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, the Bharatiya Janata Party government has made every effort to help the common people in every difficult situation. On the initiative of the Central Government, after discussing with the Home Minister and the Minister of Defense, the NDRF team, army and helicopters were already deployed. Relief work has also been done on a large scale.
Scindia said that he had a one -day stay in the affected area with the Chief Minister and now a detailed tour of three days is being done. After this, he will return to Delhi on 24th. Talking about the development of Gwalior, he said that the city is progressing at a rapid pace and plans are coming true at the ground level. He informed that after the end of the rainy season, the work of the International Cricket Stadium in Gwalior will also start. ₹ 130 crore will be invested in this project, which will increase the capacity of the stadium to 40,000 spectators. He said that from both Gwalior and Delhi, he himself is keeping an eye on the situation of every work.
