Pavel Malkov, Governor of Riazan region, south-east of Moscow, said on Friday that the incident occurred due to fire in a factory workshop. But it is not clear from the Russian media reports what causes the fire or what was actually being produced in the factory. Official Russian sources did not give any details other than searching and treatment efforts for the injured. Mourning Day in Riazan
Local authorities have announced that the Riazan region will mourn a day for those killed in the factory explosion. Riyazan Governor Pavel Malkov said on Telegram that flags will be tilted throughout the region. The explosion occurred between the war of Russia in Ukraine which has been going on for more than three years. On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin met his American counterpart Donald Trump in Alaska to negotiate the war.
