Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav said on Sunday that the historical responsibility to save democracy is on the shoulders of the Election Commission and when the commission runs on the right path, crores of Indians will become their defense shield.
Yadav said in a statement issued here that a correct and bold step of the Commission can ensure the future and welfare of the infinite generations of the country. He said, the Election Commission is not only reform, but there is inevitability of radical change. Today, the historical responsibility to save democracy is on his shoulders. Suppose many types of unwanted pressure are working on them, but they do not understand that they are alone.
Yadav said, when the Election Commission goes on the right path, then crores of Indians will become their defense shield. The public and public confidence with those walking on the path of truth starts running themselves. A correct and bold step of the Election Commission can ensure the future and welfare of the infinite generations of the country. Everyone should hear the voice of conscience.
The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, Samajwadi Party gave 18 thousand affidavits of vote robbery to the Election Commission of India but action was cipher. He said that there is a long list of wrongdoing and adventures, which have neither received any reply nor “no answer to our affidavits”.
