Economically weak children will meet in private schools in Punjab, released on PSEB

Students of economic weak squares (EWS) in private schools of Punjab will receive admission under the RTE Act, which will also provide better education in private schools. Guidelines have been issued by the Punjab School Education Department in this regard.

The Education Department has directed all private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, under the Right of Economic Class students. These students’s fees will be shared by the Center and the Punjab government. The Education Department has issued the order after the orders of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Children living in a range of private and non-Assistant Schools will be preferred on a priority basis. Children living in the range of three kilometers of the school will be given a second priority. Children who live in a perimeter of three to six km will be considered for the child seats. Economic weak square students will be shared by the Center at the Center while the transportation costs will be paid by the student’s parents.

As per the Punjab School Education Department, all the private and non-Assistant schools in the state will be given to the students of economic weaker in the RTE Act in Nursery, L. After the students will be given free education to the eighth grade. A decision on the division of seats in these schools will be taken on the basis of last year’s advertisement.

The Education Department has also distributed to 25 per cent seats for students of economic weak square students in different categories. Under this, 12.5 fertilizers have been for financially weakened square students, while five per cent for children and Rs 1.25 per cent for children and 1.25 per cent classes for children and children without parents.
